====== Assigning user rights ======

User rights can be assigned on two levels:\\ 
  - By [[en:system:benutzer:gruppen|user group]] the user already receives predefined rights within the group.
  - By <color black/yellow>User rights</color> additional authorizations can be given to a user concerning the execution of certain actions. 

If a user already possesses a certain right through his group, the manually stored right dominates here.\\ 
To do this, open the required user. Then click on the sub-item [[en:system:benutzer:rechte|user rights]].\\   
The following authorizations can be assigned:

|//User administration//|In general, restricting the view and the associated changing of properties within the user administration. In addition, you can specify here whether this user is an admin and/or can edit himself/herself. This is assigned in the second tab "Properties (extended)".|

|//Web access//|This right enables the user to log in to eBiss Web. The rights of the user generally regulate the viewing and the associated changing of properties within the web interface.|

|//Workflows//|In general, restricting the view and the associated changing of properties within the workflows. You can also specify here whether the user can execute workflows in principle or not..|

**Important:** Finish your input by clicking on the Save button, so that your changes will be saved in the eBiss database.
