===== In the message box =====

To test messages, they can be copied & pasted from a file into the message box((aka **importing messages**)). 
The prerequisite is that the client is logged in to the service (not a local session).

{{:images:sign_warning.png?nolink|}}**Note:** Whether the created message is incoming or outgoing depends on the setting on the message basket. If no direction is defined, then the value is **outgoing**.

Selected job objects in the [[en:prozessdefinition:jobs:designer|]] can be copied and pasted to other locations or jobs

===== In the Mapping Editor =====

Mapping rules or rule sets in the Mapping Editor can be copied and pasted to other places in the current or other mappings.

===== In the Type Editor =====

Simple or complex data elements in the [[en:programmierung:typbibliotheken:typeditor|]] can be copied and pasted to other places in the current or other types.

===== From Grid Views =====

eBiss offers the possibility to copy the contents of any grid view with or without headers an paste this table content into different software liek Excel or Word etc.

===== In value providers =====

===== In remapping tables =====

Remapping((aka translation, recoding or re-keying)) tables can be populated via the clipboard. See **Howto** [[en:howtos:recoding#preparation|Conversion of properties/Preparation]].
