The file system event listener is triggered when a file of a fixed file type is placed in a specific directory, and is mainly used in conjunction with a Harddisk receive channel.

Check notification | The system checks whether the file was processed by the started job, i.e. whether it was deleted or moved by the HardDiskChannel. In cases where the file is moved or processed by a script, the value must be set to 'False'. |
Change logs | The changes to the element are logged. The logging is activated in the System settings, which is possible if a versioning license is available. |
Note: The File System Eventlistener may only be used if the newly arriving files are self-contained, i.e. they are not added to by a script over a period of time!
