GetArticleDetailsExByEAN

The difference between the mapping function GetArticleExByEAN and GetArticelDetailsByEAN is that the mapping function GetArticleExByEAN also performs EanCaching. The result is an accelerated execution, if all article positions (EANs) belonging to the same article are in chronological order in a document. In this case, the ArticleDetails are read directly from the EanCache. After this has been filled by the first execution of the DFunction.

The prerequisite for this is that when the message is created from an ERP system, the article items are displayed grouped according to article numbers. If this is not taken into account, EAN caching cannot take place. This means that the speed advantage will not be reached.

Syntax:

GetArticleDetailsExByEAN (<ean>)
