Setup - update is not selectabler

eBiss is available but in the setup the update is not offered, which can have the following causes::

• the Windows user has no access to the registry entry mentioned below,
• eBiss was not provided with the setup, but via copy/paste,
• etc.

To fix the problem, create the InstallationPaths directory in the registry under:

Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\eBiss

And then create an entry of type “String”¹⁾ in the directory with

1. Name: the name of the system, e.g. eBiss3 and
2. Data: the path where eBiss is installed, e.g. D:\Pranke\eBiss3.
