WebDav send channel

The WebDav send channel enables the connection to services that support the WebDav protocol.
Messages from the messagebox (outgoing) are transmitted via WebDav verbs to the directory specified in the URL field of the channel.

Note: The WebDav send channel is part of one of the licensed Modules.

Message directionFor receive channels the direction of the received message (but require also for send channels)

PublicTrue if the channel should be visible in the sub node
URLEnter the IP address or domain name with the subpath where the messages should be send to. e.g. http://localhost/webdav/.\\A port can be specified if the host uses a non-default port.
UsernameUser name for server authentication.
PasswordUser password for server authentication.
AuthenticationschemeAuthenticationscheme which should be used for the connection to the server.
Change logsThe changes to the element are logged. The logging is activated in the System settings, which is possible if a versioning license is available.

Immediate retriesRetries, used by send channels. For some receive channels, the number of pickup attempts.

File name handlingMethod which should be used to determine the filename. If the filename already exists this selection will impact the file name that will be used by the “file exists handling” option.
File exists handlingProcedure that will be used if the initial filename already exists at the destination.

File name handlingHere you can select a method to generate the filenames by means of a combo box.
File exists handlingHere you can select a file handling method from the combo box in case a file of the same name already exists in the directory. The file can be overwritten, documents attached to the file or parts of the file name can be renamed.
