The TradeItemManager is used to book the items in the manufacturer item pool. See Modules, Article management.
The option Change Properties with the setting Keep missing value results in the:

Change properties | When “overwriting”, fields that are not set are also transferred to the pool. This is usually desirable. However, it can be useful especially with user-defined objects (see above in the help). |

Create missing locations | If a location is set and known (e.g. the one in the first TradeItem), then other non-existing locations are automatically created for the partner. |
Book on | Defines whether the items are to be booked at the system or trading partner. |
Create pricelinces | If 'no' is selected, the import is aborted with a task if new price lines are available. |
Create addit. article info | If 'no' is selected, the import is aborted with a task if new article information are available. |
Detailed protocol | Detailed log of changed and created articles (GTINs) in the “Progress Log”. |
Log duplicate changes | Log changes due to duplicates. |
