If you want to be sure about the use of a mapping, there are currently only two ways.

1. The Where-used list (in the main or context menu) can be executed directly in the eBiss user interface. Mappings can only be referenced in Jobs or Type sets.
2. Alternatively, a system dump can be searched for the mapping name with a suitable tool(such as: GrepWin or Notepad++). If more than one result is found¹⁾ you have to assume that the mapping is needed²⁾.
3. The obsolete manual way is to search all jobs and their mapping transformers and all type sets.

Note: In multi-node systems with public mappings ³⁾, of course, each node must be dumped and evaluated individually.
