eBiss does not start

You have restarted the eBiss service but you cannot use the client to log in normally.

Possible cause

  • Windows has allocated the eBiss Service PORT but could not terminate the process.
  • The eBiss Server Service User does not own the required authorization.

Proof

  1. Determine the port number for the service in the configuration file or with eBiss.Configure.exe
  2. in the console, determine the process ID and see that it cannot be terminated:

    C:\Users\ediadmin>netstat -ano | findstr :9997
      TCP 192.168.10.25:9997 0.0.0.0:0 LISTENING 3740
    
    C:\Users\ediadmin>taskkill /PID 3740 /F
    ERROR: The process "3740" was not found.

    Help: Restart server!
