Pranke GmbH has once again expanded its circle of software partners.
ImPuls AG, enterprise resource planning (ERP) specialist from Krefeld, is deepening its partnership with Pranke GmbH, the textile industry expert provider of intelligent converter software and its own data transport platform.

In the B2B sector, electronic data interchange (EDI) is indisputably superior to paper-based business processes. Apart from the speed of data transfer and the low error rate due to automated processes, the ability to process EDI data from partners directly in the ERP solution is particularly impressive. With Pranke GmbH, Impuls AG has a partner that is not only technologically convincing, but can also contribute specialist knowledge that has been gathered over decades in EDI projects in the textile industry.

The EDI solution for ImPuls

For ImPuls customers, Pranke GmbH provides its eBiss software with a ready-made interface to the ERP system ImPuls fashion XL. eBiss is a middleware for data exchange between applications inside and outside the own company. eBiss enables the precise mapping of company-specific business processes through graphical editors and the quick connection of new trading partners through ready-made EDIFACT mappings. After installation and instruction, the IT staff of the ImPuls customer can change and renew the digitally mapped processes as desired. Communication channels can be selected for new partners and, if necessary, mappings can be individually adapted. The employees of sales or buying departments have access to the message baskets and can thus ensure an error-free message flow themselves. For the transmission of EDI data, ImPuls uses Pranke's own VAN called eGate. It is SMTP/POP3-based and serves about 8,000 users as a platform for the exchange of EDI data. Thanks to gateways and interconnect agreements, practically any desired partner can be reached by the eGate customer.
