Corporate history

  • In 1987:the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe presents EDIFACT, a crosssectoral international standard.
  • Around 1997: The textile chain gets digitized, electronic processes are indispensable in trade and industry.
  • 1997: Daniel Gleichauf starts as a developer in the young company, soon becoming second managing director.
  • 1998: Pranke GmbH introduces the ediBox (Windows), a converter that maps EDI processes exactly and cost-effectively.
  • 1998:Together with the software partners the ediBox is successfully integrated in trade and industrial production.
  • 2000: eGate, a multifunctional network is developed. Soon thousands of participants use the fast network to transport their EDI messages in a safe way.
  • 2001: The Pranke WWS profile is published. Harald Pranke is in a leading role in the standardisation process. This WWS profile makes EDI transmission conclusive and comprehensible.
  • 2002: International companies use Pranke services and products.
  • 2004:Release eBiss 1.0 With the principle of two-level mapping, Pranke GmbH develops a tool that sets new standards.
  • 2006: Introduction of the eXtended EDI service. Companies without own EDI infrastructure are outsourcing processes completely and partially to Pranke.
  • Late 2007: Release eBiss 2.0
  • 2009: Company founder Harald Pranke dies unexpectedly. Heinz-Erich Ohnezat becomes managing director. Despite this setback, the company is made ready for the future – in the spirit of its founder.
  • 2009/2010: Within the context of the eXtended EDI service, a module for sales monitoring is being developed. The effect: A much more transparent supply chain management.
  • 2011: With ediCERT®™ a training series is developed which is tailored to employees in the EDI area.
  • 2015: Release eBiss 3.0 The converter features a completely new user interface and now supports with intelligent functions even complex digitization processes.
  • 2019/2020: eBiss 3.0 is enhanced. The converter is used wherever flexibility, scalability and reliability are required.2022: Strategic partnership with Neogrid, a leading specialist in AI and replenishment.
